I'm doing my best to figure out what this life is all about. At this point the most honest thing I can say is that I want to do my best to live my life in the way Jesus showed us. I grew up in a conservative Christian environment, and have spent the last ~10 years unpacking all of the stuff I was taught my whole life. To me it is just beautiful to spend time with people who are authentic, honest, and vulnerable, regardless of your religious, political or any other beliefs. I love learning from the people around me.

I have worked on and off at a Planet Fitness for about 8 years, and have also worked multiple years supporting people with disabilities (which I loved!). I have also worked at the Grand Canyon North Rim Lodge the last 2 summers.

It has been a great privilege to travel the world and see so many amazing places. I've volunteered extensively with Workaway and Helpexchange, as well as several "mission trips" (not a big fan of that sort of language anymore haha).

My current situation is that I'm trying to figure out the next chapter of my life, and after lots of travel for so many years I feel more ready to settle in one place for a while. Once I have a permanent place to live I look forward to being able to host fellow Couchsurfers!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have used Couchsurfing before but it was on a joint account, so now I'm starting my own. I've never had a negative experience on here, and I'm looking forward to continuing the positive interaction with people I don't know yet. As stated above, once I settle into my own place I am excited to host fellow travelers, but currently I'm looking to do just a bit more surfing until that time comes.
