Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, currently preparing for the MCAT while working in medicine. Travel has been a crucial part of my process of self-education (about people, geography, policy, food), and it is infinitely better when checking in with locals. When my work schedule allows, I hope to provide a solid home base for those looking to explore Upstate SC. Similarly, I would love to reach out and get to know people while couchsurfing across the country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once convinced an armed robber to give me back my wallet in West Philly. He seemed like a cool guy, so I just went ahead an asked (offering him the one dollar in my wallet). He seemed to think it was a good deal, and we parted ways.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Food! I have taken it upon myself to learn cooking techniques across many cultures and food preferences. If you are an adventurous eater, love eating local ingredients, and/or just want somebody to make you dinner--definitely let me know.
