Overview
About Me
Alexander Technique has become a pathway to new learning capabilities for me.
I travel to Spain at least twice a year to meet and stay with friends old and new.
My interest in music has regenerated to the point where I look forward to singing with others - and sometimes just myself.
I intend to carry on teaching and learning lifelong, life definitely beginning at 65.
Sometimes I travel with my camper van, sometimes on the train. I love seeing new places, making new friends and discovering and revealing exciting activities such as snorkelling in Greece or the Caribbean, motorcycling or simply exploring an art gallery like the Thyssen or the Reina Sofia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Teachers don't get paid commensurate with their skills and enthusiasms.
Where ever you go if you have interests you have to contribute either with money or skills. I am happier contributing with social skills like music and conversation.
Equally I am happy to spend in restaurants, bars, cafes and take my turn to be the host.
Music, Movies, and Books
Bach, Chopin, Wishbone Ash, Sarah Vaughan, Nerina Pallot, Fairport Convention, Joni Mitchell.
Also most classical guitar.
Avatar, Inception, Lord of the Rings, Those Magnificent men in their Flying Machines,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ridden a race horse around Exeter racecourse.
