I love music, crafting delicious drinks, and deep conversation about anything from art to philosophy to cosmology. History has also always been my favorite subject to explore, whether it be through reading or through travelling to old and wonderful places. I was born in Germany and traveled around Europe with my family for years, but we moved to Virginia when I was 8 years old and my last trip across the Atlantic was when I was 13. School and work absorbed me, and I haven't done a lot of long-distance travelling since. To break the mold, I moved to Miami last year as a jumping off point for more adventures, and now I think it's time for me to spread my wings and check out the world on my own!

I love all kinds of music, from psychedelic garage rock to hip-hop. Some of my favorite movies are Memoirs of a Geisha, Fight Club, Pan's Labyrinth, and Anchorman. My favorite books are typically science fiction, such as Ender's Game, The Culture series, or Disworld novels, but I also love ancient history and philosophy books.
