About Me

My wife and I are road warriors and love Couchsurfing - an amazing way to meet amazing people! We are often in travel mode and can only host sometimes... However we like meeting new people and swapping travel stories like the craziest things we have ever eaten. :) We are nomads at heart and CS peeps are our peeps! Life is an amazing awesome adventure!!!

We believe that life is fulfilled by connecting with others and helping people: happiness through service.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Fantastic way to connect with new cool people, and it totally satisfies the soul.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all types of music but jazz is my favorite. There is no way I could pick a favorite movie - there are way too many I have loved. For books, the Stieg Larsson series was amazing, I loved the Harry Potter series, I have read and tremendously enjoyed every windswept book in the Patrick O'Brian Master and Commander series, read all the Lee Child Jack Reacher adventure novels, and am currently on a Haruki Murakami kick. I love to read! It, as well as CouchSurfing, gives me inspiration for my writing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking up to Big Budda with the butterflies near Hong Kong / riding horses in the surf in Tobago (it's a tie)

Teach, Learn, Share

As an engineer if you need help with anything technical - computers, electronic devices, cars, heavy machinery, anti-gravity propulsion systems :) I am happy to provide my expertise. My wife Pam is a licenced mental health counselor, a great person and a great traveller!

Here's something fun I have been working on:

I am also occasionally teaching a class on Energy and Sustainability in my spare time and loving it!

We love to travel and meet people and are always interested in swapping stories.
We are really good listeners and pretty good talkers as well LOL. We are wine enthusiasts and like to make and eat all sorts of food, from tagine to cookies to an unbeatable proper full English breakfast YUM! :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lots of crazy adventures, laughter, and good famous person stories.

I am a type 9, Peacemaker on the enneagram. Ergo I get along well with everyone!
