I am a married 25 year old medical student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham who loves to travel and experience new places and cultures. I have lived in the Southeastern U.S. my entire life but love visiting other parts of the world and country. My favorite travel experience so far has been a cruise to Alaska although a honeymoon to NYC is a close second. I am very much a foodie so when visiting a new area I always enjoy sampling the local cuisine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Currently I am traveling to many places across the country in order to interview for residency slots at various hospitals. I believe Couchsurfing would be a great way to meet new people along the interview trail.

Movies: Most Pixar movies with the exception of some of the recent disasters like Cars 2. Recent favorites include Ex Machina and The Martian. I will always have a soft spot for the 2002 Spider-Man.

Books: Song of Ice and Fire Series, The Martian, House of God, The Great Gatsby

Music: I'm a pretty casual music fan but enjoy a diverse array of artists and styles such as folk rock (Mumford and Sons), classic rock (Creedence Clearwater Revival), and country (Eric Church).
