Hello! My name is John and I grew up in a small town in western Massachusetts. I am an avid disc golfer and am excited to check out courses in other states. I enjoy spending time with my friends kayaking down a river or having a drink at the bar, playing darts and having a laugh. We get together for pot lucks, jam out on guitar and throw some pretty fun theme parties. Last new years my carpentry skills constructed a studio 54 sign and a giant light up peace sign. I enjoy reading, movies, going to live shows, dancing to motown or the juke box.
Im a non-smoking, social drinker and 420 friendly. My work has brought me from Maine to Pennsylvania restoring stained glass. I am excited to head out across this big country and see all the wonderful sights and different cultures. I plan on doing some hiking, camping and staying with friends along the way. I would love to meet some new folks as well to get a real experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have lived in New England my entire life. There is a great big world out there full of beautiful sights and interesting people! At 31 I've decided it's my time to go and experience it. I have sold off most of my belongings and head out on an open ended cross country trip. I can't wait to meet new awesome people and get a taste of what life is like for them across the nation. I'd love to check out your favorite trail, BBQ joint, giant ball of yarn- whatever makes your town special.
