Lately. There has been a huge increase in people looking for a place to crash. Rather than genuine Couchsurfing people. So I have to be more selective
Please try to communicate before hand. Last minute requests are not easy as I need forward planning to be able to show you around..
If it’s involves a road trip now. I would appreciate a donation towards fuel cost. As it has almost doubled here recently.. and please please don’t stay forever in the shower.. it’s electric and the cost of electricity has also gotten so expensive..Be considerate ...Sadly I’ve had to edit my profile again because of the amount of requests and the amount of obvious freeloaders are not genuine couchsurfers anymore. The key to staying here if you really want to number one is communication don’t just send your request and then expect to land at my door I want to know who I’m hosting why am hosting you if you’re fit in with the other guests that may be here if you have any unusual requests if you are going to come here and use my house for free Wi-Fi and hide in your room all day working and call that Couchsurfing then this place is not for you.. If you go to the beach try not to bring sand et cetera into the house everywhere and do a try to leave the room basically as you got it..
I’m sorry I’ve had to add this but you are getting a place to stay for free the least you could do is communicate and try and fit in with everyone else who might be here couchsurfing is NOT your private hotel room.. And last try and bring some food that you might eat..
