I'm from Texas originally but now live in NYC. I am a carefree and open-minded person. I love to stay busy and keep my mind active. I have currently gotten back into the workflow, but can always find time to meet my fellow travelers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I spent 15 months backpacking around the world and learned about this community for travelers. I feel this community has changed a lot over the years from what others have told me and I want to make a positive contribution. I would love to meet up and show you around the city or just hang out and have a coffee.

You could see the most amazing cathedrals, temples, landscapes, etc., but it is the people you meet that you will remember the most. I have found that in my travels, I would rather spend my time with good people above anything else.

Interests

While traveling, I enjoy eating, photography, being outside. Hiking, exploring new cities, listening to live music. Anything that awakens the senses and keeps my mind and body active.

Music, Movies, and Books

I rarely watch tv or movies, but documentaries are usually my go to.

Music can range anywhere from Incubus (my favorite band) to heavy metal to jazz to country. I'm usually not too picky as long as it has a good groove to it or gets my adrenaline pumping.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a good cook and happy to help out around the house/apartment if needed. I would also be happy to help with learning English if that is something you are interested in.

I respect that you are letting me in to your home, so I will treat it as my own and gladly pitch in where I can.
