I am an engineer by trade but I can't sit in front of a computer for too long. I love traveling and discovering new cultures. I love getting a true local experience!

I find that the people I meet and become friends with are the experiences that I remember most from my travels. Making friends all over the world is such a rewarding experience, it has taught me it is worth asking good questions and trying to understand people that have different backgrounds and lives than me.

As an engineer I like to use my skills to improve our world. I have spent nearly a year of my life working in Haiti on water projects and have worked on projects in Africa and the Philippines.

I think it is a great way to meet interesting people and I think it is the best way to really have an authentic experience when visiting a new city.
