About Me

I am an aspiring music composer who has taken some time out to go travelling.
I’m going to start university in Bristol next September studying Music composition for Film and TV and I’m really looking forward to it.

I have been work and travelling around New Zealand with my girlfriend for the past 5 months. We are soon starting our trip through Japan and South East Asia.

It’s my first time being so far away from home. It has been challenging at points but also incredibly rewarding. I have met many fellow backpackers on the way and made new friends that I’m hoping to visit one day. I have already discovered a world that is completely different to what I’m used to and I cannot wait to see what else is out there.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet someone local and have a more authentic experience of where I am staying. My girlfriend has used Couchsurfing before and she highly recommended it. I think it’s a very unique way of travelling and the purpose behind it is remarkable . I’m hoping to learn more about the place I’m visiting through stories and recommendations from a local. I also really like the idea of knowing someone in a country you’ve never seen before.

Music, Movies, and Books

Grew up on rock music but my preference on music could be anywhere from Led Zeppelin to Tchaikovsky.

I am also a big fan of film music. My favourite composer is Ennio Morricone.

I am looking forward to the chance of experiencing new film and music from countries like Japan that have influenced the world over with their unique art.

I’ve been playing guitar since I was 14. I’ve recently started learning to play the piano.
Can teach guitar, piano and some degree of music theory to any who wish to learn!

I am open to trying and learning new things!
