About Me
ABOUT ME
Now working as a middle school resource teacher after spending a few years working in animal protection.
I lived in Singapore for some of my childhood. I have also lived in Philadelphia, upstate New York, and now Indiana. And having been to a handful of other countries as well, my travels have been etched into my heart and memory - and, consequently, have been pivotal in my life journey.
I am always seeking to find meaningful connection, to satisfy my insatiable curiosity, and to continue expanding the breadth and depth of my life experience.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find value in the mutuality of trust that is unearthed during a couchsurfing experience. One of my hosts once said to me, "I have to trust you coming into my home. You also have to trust me as you come into my home." Living in a mindset that sees the loyalty in others is very freeing.
Oh, and I certainly cannot forget to mention how enjoyable it is to have a host show you his or her hometown. Locals are the best kind of tour guides.
