Overview
About Me
In August, I left my humble roots in Minneapolis. I've been working the past couple of years in social work as a "job coach", while also bartending/serving on the side. With the whole "life being short" thing, I decided I'd take a year to make the most of it, and began travelling the country, seeking out adventures, checking out nature, finding myself, and other bullshit.
I like writing and noodling on the guitar. My mom thinks I'm great. Mostly, though, I’m a big goof who does things like put a box on his head, light it on fire and dance to house music (see photo #2).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've enjoyed the solo-wanderer life I've been living since August. But, as it turns out, I also occasionally enjoy meeting people and not sleeping in a tent. Hence the couchsurfing.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like big books that are highly intellectual, provide poignant analysis of the human condition, and incorporate extensive research into past and modern society. I don't read them, but I like them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I started an official yoga club in college just because someone dared me to. I had never done yoga in my life, and I led it for two years. I called myself "Dingo" and wore a curly wig. I guess that's not amazing, but you have to admit it's fairly audacious.
