About Me
My parents named me Jonathan. I like to philosophize and talk about life, hiking, traveling, life-changing events, cultures, religions, spirituality, animals. I love the spirit of the forest. I travel with my backpack to go down to the essentials of life, to be less encumbered by the materialistic way of life. I am a person who speaks with his heart, always.
General info: I'm from Québec, Canada. I speak French (first language) and English. I practice meditation daily. I like to teach French and English to everyone that wishes to learn. I'm an animal lover. I believe we can learn a lot from them. I have 2 younger brothers.
I've worked for 6 years as a computer technician. I've quit my job in December 2015. I sold my phone, my car and my computer and left my home town to pursue my dream to travel the world for one year. In 2017, I came back for a year and a half. In that year, I've realized that I need a purpose greater than to live within the status quo. I am leaving the sedentary life once again.
To me traveling is much more than seeing new things and meeting new people. It's about discovering who one truly is. I believe that constantly waking up to a new horizon ultimately brings peace and happiness. Sometimes it is hard to hear our quiet voice inside of us that tells us what we need to be. I want to feel alive everyday. To feel that my life matters.
