“Professional who is preparing to take a year-long mid-career break to travel solo and do some volunteer work.” That was my mini-bio when I joined 3.5 years ago. Since then I’ve been traveling and volunteering around the world full time. And then the pandemic hit. I returned to Durham and have had my first fixed address in years. And a car payment, too. Scary. But three months in one place is making me crazy, so I’m about to convert my piece o’ crap CR-V into a mobile campground and try my hand at car camping this summer.
