Overview
About Me
I am a lone traveller making my first backpacking trip. I'll be travelling through Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia.
Having finished my degree this year, I've decided to travel whilst I'm free.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm always seeking new experiences and as a lone traveller this is especially true. I love to meet new people and exchange cultures and bond on common interests.
Interests
Music is a big part of my life. Whether attending gigs and festivals, going to clubs, or reading about its history, my life will always revolve around music. I'm never too shy to sing some Britney Spears or something equally cheesy on karaoke either!
I'm a football fan who supports Norwich City in the Premier League and plan to visit some stadiums and watch some games here. I'm always up for playing some football too!
Technology, and future progress, is something that's intrigued me since I was a kid. Ethical issues such as privacy concerns, the future of medicine, and AI open my mind to possibilities and the consequences of these.
I've an interest in professional wrestling having watched since I was 8 years old and have spent a large part of my life watching or reading about it - as well as training, participating and putting on shows.
I'm a vegan struggling to navigate my way through South America's food options but always love a good vegan dish. If you know a good recipe, please share!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm an avid music fan and love music from many genres. My Spotify tells me that my most played artists recently have been Tame Impala, Funkadelic, The Beatles, Herbie Hancock, and...Robbie Williams. Over the last few years I've become more interested in disco and house music and these tend to be my favourite club nights. My view is that good music is good music regardless of genre and I'm known to shed tears over some pretty odd choices! I play some guitar though I'm eager to learn more.
The last three books I've read are Sapiens, Love Saves the Day: A History of American Dance Music Culture, 1970–1979, and The Mixer: The Story of Premier League Tactics
Teach, Learn, Share
I am always looking to improve my Spanish to make the most of my time here in South America and to connect with people better. I can teach some guitar to beginners.
