Hey. My name is John Oliveira. I'm 25 years old and was born and raised in Brazil. But I'd say I'm Brazilian only by birth. I always have been in love with this country and it's culture where I'm currently located and involved in today, which is the USA and the american culture. When I was 19, almost 20, I came to the US to do this bible school through my church and my graduation was in the year of 2014. I have been serving the church since then, volunteering and leading lifegroups.
I've always hosted people at my place from many of different countries and just hadn't had a lot of opportunities to being hosted because I recently decided to start exploring more. My interests is to make new friends through CS and also create connections with people where I can receive them when possible and being received the same way. Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I had heard of Couchsurfing through some friends but I never stopped to read about it and see what's up with it. Until a friend of mine (who had already being hosted by this family up north thru CS) told me about his experience and I decided to give it a try!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love indie/folk songs and worship songs! I could literally listen to them the whole day. Also go for other types of rock and even american Pop. I love any kind of movies or tv shows. It's indeed one of my favorite hobbies. If that's even a hobby.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Mmm, one amazing thing I've done was getting myself inside of a car with my roommate and going on a road trip throughout the coast. I've done this twice actually, getting to know the West and East coast of the US. Something I'd definitely do again!!

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I would love to teach, learn and share whenever it comes to different cultures and different languages or/and expressions and point of views and even different religions. I think this is the most amazing thing in the human being, how we are able to teach and learn at the same time! I believe that all of us have something to share.
