About Me

Update: Relocated to Buffalo, NY. Near Niagara Falls. Welcoming guests.

New York resident but travels frequently to North Carolina. Grew up in California and schooled in Texas. I travel a lot within and outside of the U.S. and I really enjoy hearing about the travel experiences people have.

I love exploring new cities. Happy to help others explore mine. I prefer to host for a few days at a time. I also travel a lot for fun and work and it is hard to commit to longer stays. I’ll be able to show you the popular spots in the city as well as some hidden gems. We can also meet with other surfers in hangouts so they can share their experiences with you. I’ll make time to show you around and give you tips on places you can explore on your own too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Connecting with CouchSurfers has been a great experience for me. I have exchanged souvenirs with some, shared wonderful meals with others, partied with a lot of them, and taken part in unique experiences with a select few. With CouchSurfing, even seeing the classic landmarks with new visitors can breathe a new life into the experience, and reignite the excitement for this crazy city. It’s always a nice surprise when guests introduce me to one of the endless experiences unique to NYC.

I see CouchSurfing as a supportive group of adventurers who enjoy making the most out of their travel and life experiences. From my experience, the best CouchSurfers are the ones who make a genuine effort to connect and want to experience things with others. With that, I found that CouchSurfers with references tend to have a better understanding of this community, so I prefer to host guests with at least one reference. I am very understanding of any odd references; I understand that you cannot make everyone happy. Last minute requests are welcome. Travelers from countries I’ve never hosted get moved to the front of the line. ☺️

If you don’t have many references yet, no problem! Let’s just chat first so we can get to know each other, and figure out what kind of activities and experiences we can share.
