About Me

Hey all. I'm a happy go lucky spirit based in Brooklyn, NY. I have a lot of interests, travel being one of them. I'm a musician, I am always singing or whistling wherever I go. I work in the fashion industry which is weird for me cuz its not my style at all, but I like challenges too, so am giving it my best shot. I make jewelry all day which is pretty sweet and I really am quite fond of my life. I prefer more to stay in or do cultural outings rather than bar crawls and night clubs, for sure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would rather live the unpredictable but rich experience of a couch surfer than be safe and stay in a hotel. This is my first time trying it out and I think it is going to go well! I have gold stars from all of my hostels that I stay at and I could verify that way if you really need to know I will be a great guest for you. I cant host at the moment as my apartment is having some work done and it wouldn't be comfortable. As soon as its done I hope to have lots of people coming through!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: From Renaissance to Today I am pretty much into it though my fondness lies in the classical.

Movies: Steel Magnolias, Spanglish, Saved.. I like to keep things light and easy.

Books: David Sedaris anything. Also into books about Buddhism, spritiual growth, things like that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Sicily to do an opera program, and I was sitting at a bar in the hotel having a drink alone and a man came up and sat next to me. I heard that he spoke english so I started to talk to him. He was actually from New York and had traveled oversees to find his family. I asked him the family name, and turns it was the same as mine. After a little digging we discovered his grandmother was my great grandfathers sister. The experience cant even be described, but it says so much about the world.
