About Me
Global itinerant languages teacher (5 continents)- turned father/inventor/businessman. Recently divorced after 9yrs, love dogs, farms, barn cats, good time with friendly folks. Like to cook healthful food, play guitar, sing, do art, tell travel stories... I need to work in Portland for a few days to a week, and am hoping to make some new friends while im there. I'm calisober, but have no problem if you drink (without problem).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used to travel with a backpack, passport, and guitar for years. Hitch-hicked across Australia with a Japanese fiancee I'd met in Taipei. Before that I backpacked western Europe solo and north Africa with a couple of friends. Growing up, I took many trips to Mexico and was a guest in many homes while traveling across the US. I've never lived in Portland with locals. I need to get some work done there, but don't want the lonesome hotel experience. Hoping for good connections.
