About Me

Eyo! I’m Ken (John is my legal name not sure how to change it here). This is my first time ever trying CouchSurfing!

I would consider myself to be down to earth, outgoing, eclectic and always chasing adventure.

Was born and raised in Italy, grew up in Canada but both both my parents are from the Philippines. Thereby identifying as a Filipino-Canadian with Italian roots; I know, I know! I’ve been very fortunate to connect to such distinct cultures, let’s just say my meals are vary all the time.

I have recently completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology and counselling and have decided to take some time to gallivant before pursuing graduate school, I truly believe that travelling is a form of education like none other.

The glass is half full with me — I love to explore, meet new people and enjoy good company, laugh fully and appreciate the beauty of what we call life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always enjoyed hosting people through friends and or friends of friends, so I hope this would facilitate that process. I’m open to this new experience and as I have said meeting new people!
