Emily is bubbly, extroverted, and is the life of almost any party. With that, her attempts to be funny can be endearing and entertaining. She loves people, animals, food, and public health.

John is level-headed, calm, and introverted. He's one of the best writers and lawyers in Jacksonville, Florida. He loves philosophy, complicated non-fiction books, and food.

Together, Emily is the peanut butter to John's jelly. While they might be opposites in some ways, they perfectly balance each other. (D'aww!)

We love to travel, and we love people.

Emily has always had severe wanderlust. She has been to many of the United States and to Switzerland, Greece, Jamaica, and Canada. In both Switzerland and Greece she stayed with local families for over two weeks. The fun part about that is that she was able to experience the culture and understand what the locals do. She is still in contact with both families, and she can't wait to visit them again soon. :) Emily is also known for hosting fun themed parties--so maybe you'll come visit just in time to attend one!

John has been to England, Ireland, Germany, and Italy. He studied abroad for five months in the UK and was able to experience the local scene and sites.

Together, they are Jacksonville's hottest "power couple" (self-proclaimed, haha). We both are considered leaders in our fields and, most of all, enjoy giving back to the community.

I think both of our life philosophies is that you never stop learning. With that being said, we would love to learn about anything you're willing to share.

Emily's passion is public health, and she's always willing to share that knowledge. One day soon, she'll also be able to share her aviation knowledge too.

We can share amazing and unique Jacksonville and Florida specific goodies. You would be surprised at the awesome local goods we have in Northeast Florida!

Emily is considered a better-than-average cook. Her specialty is a good ol' American breakfast. Think: eggs, bacon, grits, cream of wheat, pancakes. She also can make a mean pasta carbonara.

John is the best proofreader in the world (Emily's opinion). He was an articles editor at the Duke Law Journal!
