Hello everyone!
My name is John and I am Greek, born and living in Greece. I work as an accountant at a local financial services company.

Although I havent traveled much yet, my dream is to travel as much as I can getting to know different cultures and people around the world. My passion is photography and more specifically astrophotography and landscape photography. I hope I can experience more of the world though my images and create the best memories!

For the last year I am also learning the chinese language hoping to travel to China soon!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although I havent travelet much yet in my life, I hope I can do that more in the future. I was always fascinated about how diverse our world is and I believe the best way to know and experience another culture is to connect with its people.

Since I am a little shy in interracting with strangers, maybe the best way to overcome this, is to connect trough couchsurfing, so I am not necessarily searching for someone to stay or to host, but maybe to get in touch with other people here!

I havent experienced couchsurfing, but I see it like a "journey" or a form of "art" that someone needs to approach genuenly and honestly in order to understand it and embrace it. Like everything in life making the first step is difficult, but every step forward even a small one matters.

My favourite genre is fantasy and science fiction. Among my loved books are, "A song for Arbonne" by Guy Gabriel Kay, "Veronika Decides to Die by Paulo Coelho, Elrik of Melnibone series by Michael Moorcock, "Dune" by Frank Herbert and others.

TV seriels like "Battlestar Galactica", "The Expance" and lots of others.

Songs like symphonic metal and ballads from Nightwish, my favourite one "Ghost Love Score.
