ABOUT ME

People tend to think I'm a quirky yet friendly nerd. I travel for the journey - to meet interesting and like-minded people along the way. I work to live, but it's always a challenge. So far I've succeed. Oh, and I like pie. A lot. I'll usually eat the last piece. I'm sorry.

Fortunately, I'm socially capable so no worries there. I like to listen to stories over wine and a campfire. I don't need a campfire where I stay, but certainly if you have one near your couch, it's worth putting on your profile. I generally come with marshmallows and chocolate.

I have a very nice couch waiting for someone nice who wants it. Chicago is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and I would love to show you why.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted an artist, vagabond and professionals from my downtown condo in St. Louis. I celebrate each visit with a dinner among friends and tales from the road. My own surfing experience in Finland was a wonderful way to see Helsinki and share time with a new friend.

Interests

I like pie. Any kind really, as long as it's made with love and affection. There's so much more that I could write here, but if you've ever made your own perfect apple pie and served it with friends after a great meal, you'll know why this sole experience stands for everything else good in life.

I grew up in a small town, in a small family with small ambitions. 20 years later I've seen 20 countries, eaten the best food, met inspiring people created a few good tales and have half my life in front of me. I've just begun.
