ABOUT ME

Some of my friends say that I am open-minded, globetrotter, charming, humorous, a smart cookie, authentic, reliable and hospitable and that I say things straight forward.

Some others say I am incomprehensibly self-confident and not athletic at all, but just because we do not take ourselves that serious.

In general I am in for almost everything that makes fun and makes me or others laugh :)

During the last 5 years I studied in Germany, Norway, Sweden and Canada. I just moved to Trondheim again. It is one of my favourite places in the world and I am really happy to be back here :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed a couch for a few times (in Sweden, Canada, Austria). Other than that I have friends in lots of different places which is why I don´t need couchsurfing, haha. But even then I am trying to meet other couchsurfing locals from time to time.

When I am not traveling myself, I am trying to host as many people as possible, but that is only possible, if I am not too busy with other stuff. I don´t like hosting people for 1 night only because then you don´t really get to know the other person(s). Then it feels more like being a hotel and I am definitely not a hotel. In my opinion the idea of couchsurfing is getting to know people and not just offering a free space. People that write, "that it is OK when I am busy and I don´t have time for them because they are only staying at my place for sleeping anyway", will get a DECLINE, just as all the people that write a request where it is obvious that they only wanna stay somewhere for free...

Interests

I am really into every kind of sports. In my leisure time I play soccer, volleyball or go running. Furthermore I like photography. Sometimes I annoy my friends because I spend too much time for taking a picture.

The best part of being a student is spending time with my friends. I like to have people around me, get to know new people or go out. I like to cook with my friends or just watch a movie or a series. If I can choose the movie it would be something like "96 hours", "Max Paine", "Kevin and Perry", "White collar" or "Two and a half men".

I love to travel around and get to know new places in the whole world. Going out and travelling is basically what I spent my money for...

I am a huge fan of MotoGP and motorcycle racing in general. Watching a race is mostly quite emotional :)

During my holidays I like to be in the countryside and go hiking. Holiday is for calming down, since I can go out every week, although I don´t mind an adrenalin rush :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Things that left me awestruck... that´s difficult.

I met one of my favourite motorcycle racers in paddock for a few times. After I have met him a few times in all the years he recognized me and said: "Ah, the guy from Germany. Nice to meet you. How are you doin?" That was amazing... Just a fan out of millions, but he remembered me... pretty nice :)

When I went to the Great Wall of China it was unbelievable how small a person becomes compared to such a, let´s call it, monument. Amazing that people built such a structure without using huge machines...

Amazing thing I have done?!? I have done many cool things, but I dont know whether other people think it is amazing, haha :D
