ABOUT ME
I always wanted to travel, and travel is exchange, learning, fun and connection. I have been away for more than a year now, traveling in India, Nepal, Indonesia and New Zealand.
Previously I was studying Communication in France for few years.
In 2009, I was in Australia and south east asia.
PHILOSOPHY
it would be Buddhism maybe ?!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to cook. Actually this all trip seems to be dedicated to my love about food. I spent most of my time wandering in the street looking for amazing dishes in India, followed by some unfortunates days wandering in the street looking for toilets, caused by my stomach's troubles. But no regret ! I would do it again.
Then I have been to New Zealand working in hospitality job in bars and restaurants, working as waiter or pizza chef. So it's always my pleisure to cook for couch surfers, as guest or host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted many couchsurfeurs in Rennes and Bordeaux, french cities. I loved to show to them the good places and tried to make them feel like at home.
I went to couchsurfers place in India, Singapore and New Zealand and had amazing experience, weeks lost in Himalaya Montains, or months in Auckland to the wonderful house of Nick.
Interests
It's a fantastic way of travelling, meeting new people and to explore a world thanks to people living there. I like to think it's a natural way of moving.
Tourism is a term we should re-invent, I don't like this idea of hostel on the beach, destroying the natural and social environment. I prefer this idea of sharing, where people from 2 different parts of the world can meet, exchange, enjoy and learn thanks to each other
