I am a writer and avid outdoorsman. I drink lots of coffee, eat lots of tacos, and ride lots of bikes.

I also live in a crazy-popular couchsurfing destination. I get dozens of requests per week. If you send me a mass request that makes it clear you haven't ready my profile, odds are very high that you'll be ignored. I read every message so if there's a special circumstance, that might not be true. But a pro-tip for anyone looking for a couch in Austin: they're in high demand and hosts pay way more attention to personalized notes!
