Hello everyone! My name is John and I have lived in the US my entire life. I grew up in Cincinnati but moved to the warmer environs of Tampa 15 years ago. I am new to CS, but excited to get more involved in hosting and meet ups.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want/need to travel more. I am committed to taking an overseas trip a year. For me, CS is a way to meet local people and learn the cool details of their city not just the heavily advertised tourist traps.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled to Scotland and played the Old Course at St. Andrews. Took a trip with my Dad to Peru and went to Machu Pichu.

I live in Westchase which is a suburb 15 minutes North of downtown Tampa. I have a spare bedroom with a queen size bed that is available.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can attempt to cook, but I would prefer to take my hosts out to dinner and/or drinks.
