About Me

CURRENT MISSION

improve my handwriting in order to be better equipped to send postcards

ABOUT ME

Born and raised in Tipperary on a dairy farm, I've lived in various parts of Ireland and have travelled a fair bit abroad. I've been studying in canada for a couple of years. I'd describe myself as friendly, outgoing, relatively well read and a good conversationalist.

PHILOSOPHY

"Don't be afraid" - Seamus Heaney's last words.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies books and music yes
Music - varied, always open to expansion, its easier to mention what I dont like, The Artic Monkeys, Cold Play and any U2 >1992, all no no's I'm afraid. That said, of course I'll still make a good effort to speak to fans of the above :- )

Books - right now science stuff mostly but author-wise, Stephen Hawking, Richard Feynmann and Christopher Hitchens, guilty pleasure would be heroic fantasy mainly David Gemmell, I know:-/cringe!

Movies - Hollywood usually sucks so in between the odd blockbuster fail at the cinema I'm a big doc fan, Werner Herzog omg. Netflix has changed my life forever!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I suppose helping my dad with calving cows as a youngster, it's a pretty amazing thing to be lucky enough to experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

If stuck for conversation we could always discuss the fabric of space-time, otherwise I know a lot about automatic watches, I can tell your mind is totally blown right now :- | ok maybe not.
