About Me
Hey there traveler,
I recently moved north to Bar Harbor for a dream job. I've been living in a yurt for the last three years (boy does time fly...) and just moved it up here two months ago. Still unpacking a little and figuring this place out, but happy to help some folks out looking for a place to crash for a night or two. I have a futon you can crash on, and plenty of space for tents. My place does not have running water, but just a short walk away is the communal kitchen and shower. It's a hose shower, so get ready for a chilly wash up! I should also add that my bathroom situation is a little less than ideal.. I didn't see the point in hauling my outhouse north with me, and I have yet to build a new one. So currently it's the ol dig a hole or find a tree routine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was fresh out of high school I spent the summer working my bumm of landscaping and building my bicycle. Come august I pushed off from maine and cycled for a month and a half to Minnesota. Possibly the most eye opening trip of my life so far. Truly relying on myself for the first time and meeting loads of wonderful folks. I used a similar app as crushsurfing called warmshowers, its specifically geared for the bicycle touring community.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer hosts good company and any fresh food I've acuired on my travels as well as helping around the house, I am a woodworker by trade and am quite handy. If something needs doing or fixing I would be happy to lend a hand.
