ABOUT ME

I enjoy traveling throughout the world and making new friends. I love to cook, bicycle riding and dancing. My cooking is primarily vegetarian simply because I enjoy vegetables more than other foods. I ride a bike 20 miles or more most days. I like traveling by bicycle and have made many bike trips, mostly in Europe. Currently taking Lindy Hop dance lessons.

I am new to this but hope to participate by offering a bed in my house as well as couch surfing. Looking forward to making new friends.

Learning to cook with new foods. Recently took cooking lessons in Mexico and learned how to make mole chicken. Delicious! I am a technologist and keep up to date with new developments, such as couch surfing! Once rode a bicycle from Prague to Budapest over 10 days. Getting back on the bicycle after drinking a Czech beer with lunch was quite a challenge.

Bicycled from Prague to Budapest with friends. Sailed from Boston to Bermuda. Cycled the McKenzie river trail in Oregon. Climbed Mt. Olympus in Washington. Nearly drowned twice! Invented the DSL modem.

I am an electrical engineer with a broad understanding of the field. Patents include communications and security applications. Entrepreneur with experience starting several companies. Self educated cook with many years of experience. Developed a method of cooking pizza directly on a grill many years ago.
