Hello CS community. I'm a 21-year-old student from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. I was born and raised on the island of Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands. While I define "home" as San Diego, I also grew up in the Northeast and Midwest regions of the United States.
"The more you travel, the more you realize how little you've seen." I always prioritize chasing new experiences over settling down. I'm a big risk-taker and usually the first to step up to a challenge. Because my family moved around a lot when I was young, I developed an interest for exploring places I've never been and putting myself outside of my comfort zone. The world is too big to not explore. So far my research, work, and/or travels have taken me to all over the U.S., South Korea, El Salvador, the Philippines, Hong Kong, China, Macao, Singapore, Malaysia, UK, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Greece, Turkey, and France (where I'm based right now as a student).
Always up for good food and drinks, good company, and good conversation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To connect with people from everywhere.
Interests
Travel hacking, music, burritos, shisha, sailing, art, pub crawls, and cooking (my dad is a sushi chef).
I'd also like to work within international development after I graduate and I'm very interested in social impact business models | microfinance | impact investing | social innovation | enabling technologies -- basically anything that takes on the question "how to change the world?" from an innovative angle.
