I'm an architect and EFL (English language) teacher. I love travel, culture, art and meeting people. By good fortune and a bit of work, my career path has allowed me to do these things in a few different countries and long may it continue.

I'm interested in all kinds of music, film, history, art, literature, cafes, bars, mountains, bicycle shops, rivers, trees (nature in general) and large comfy armchairs. Plus, people to talk to on rainy nights.

I've cycled across America (Maine to Oregon 2007); I've swam with sharks and dolphins in the Bahamas; I've climbed quite a lot of mountains in Europe and finally; I've played drums in a punk band, although that was some time ago.
