Grew up in a rural part of California. Spent a while out of the country/state – notable places of residence include New York, Tbilisi, Saint Petersburg and Groningen – and now I'm back in California.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been surfing couches for a long, long time, although this site helped me intensify my couchersurfing-hood.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

hosting, guesting, dinner parties, meetings, bike trips, movie watching, friend-making-- so far this makes up the bulk of my cs interactions. i love finding people on the site and meeting whoever, and also like it when others find me... the meetings are often fun (although i usually prefer a smaller group-- i'm not a big crowd-person).

i've organized informal meetings in budapest, kiev and amsterdam (not such a success-- just one attendant) and have attended meetings organized by others in budapest, berlin, st petersburg, moscow, new york, den haag and groningen.
