CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME
I'm a very laid back guy who likes to meet people and travel, amongst other things. Some people might call me a nerd. I like to talk about everything from politics to books to business, and if you can do this we'll probably get along well.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm still trying to figure this out. I believe in balancing having fun with doing something meaningful, but I'm still learning to do both.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm just getting started. I want to meet people locally here in the Detroit area, and show people around. Detroit is surprisingly cool, and I want the rest of the world to know it.
I also want to see more of the U.S.A. I've been many places in the world, but I'm still getting to know my own country.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I know a few couchsurfers, but I haven't done it myself yet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Brazil for a year.
In college I was mentored by a professor who was truly a man-of-the-world. He is the smartest man I've ever met, and he inspired me to learn more. I'll tell you about it in person, if you want to hear.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have some experience with international travel; I lived in Brazil for a year. I think I'm pretty good at keeping my cool, and I know a thing or two about the world of economics and business.
I want to learn just about everything, unless it's about
