ABOUT ME

John - I have come to the realization (as of 3 May 2012) that life shouldn't be full of boring/shitty work but should be filled with fun times & great people, which is the way i am living life these days.
I am a joker, I enjoy a good laugh and making other people laugh, I also love a great story over a beer or 2.
I enjoy travel, history, music, movies & some sport (AFL).
I am always keen to try new things and especially strange things that are foreign to Australia even if they don't have a positive outcome.
Hiking is a newly discovered passion.

Crystal - I love more then anything my family and friends and love the time that I get to spend with them. I appreciate how short life can be and I want nothing more than to surround myself with wonderful people.
I have a passion for travel. I love the experiences, cultures, new friends and food.
I am an accountant by trade but like to think my profession doesn't define me as a person.
I like to read books, hang out in the sun, and try new things.
I'm friendly, sometimes quiet, and love to have a good time.

PHILOSOPHY

There is so much of this world, begging to be explored.
Life is short, appreciate everything.
There is always someone in this world much more worse off, you have nothing to complain about.

Trying to start couch surfing at the moment, Always interested in meeting new people at CS meetings & When we are at home we would be keen on Renting out our couch free of charge

Movies - Anything that has action or comedy (no romantic comedies though).
Music - very diverse, rap, hip hop, rock, jazz, country music, classical.

Crystal :
Movies - I love watching movies. Keen to try anything.
Music - I love pretty much everything. I grew up learning music so appreciate how talented people are no matter what genre
Books - I like reading personal real life stories, and I quite easily get sucked into the 'new craze'

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quitting our jobs and putting our house up for rent to travel around the world for 9 months.
Hiking through the Cinque Terre in Italy, experiencing 20 hours of daylight in the arctic circle, Trying new food and drinks in foreign places.
