About Me

ABOUT ME
My splendid, college-working wife and I currently inhabit this abundantly spacious old house in Deforest, Wisconsin. Years ago, I spent my youth, filling up on cartoons, action figures, video games, and sugar. Today I crave a good deal less of those things, and more in the way of learning, sharing, frugality, intelligent consumption, peacemaking, friend-finding, and a positive political self.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To help others along their travels with far less emphasis on money, and to meet those who have a story to tell. (Psst. That's you.)

Interests

Frisbee, guitar, games, vegetables, child psych, organizing, thinking, being.

Music, Movies, and Books

After exposure to these forms of information reaches overcapacity, it has become seemingly impossible for me to select what we refer to as 'favorites.' At present, I prefer to answer such questions with nonsense.

Favorite Music: anything with electric triangle
Favorite Book: How to Read
Favorite Movie: We Used Up Our Budget On the Title of this Movie

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I consciously existed.

Teach, Learn, Share

I wondered why the Frisbee was getting bigger. Then it hit me.
When you get a bladder infection, urine trouble.
Dry erase boards are remarkable.
I've used up all my sick days so I'm calling in dead.
Having a smoking section in a restaurant is like having a peeing section in a pool.
Honk if you love peace and quiet.
Death is hereditary.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Fairly orderly living quarters, freegan cooking and supplies, stories from our travels, questions about others' travels, sufficient sleeping space, a light-hearted gaming atmosphere, smiles. And there's a cat or two.
