I am a creative soul who is passionate about music, film, writing songs, travelling, good food, whiskey, reading, philosophy, classical history, and meeting inspiring and interesting people.

Over the past few years I've definately grown to appreciate the chance meeting of strangers and the simple pleasures of enjoying what life can offer. Likewise, I strive to embrace the positive aspects of people sharing (and enjoying) their time with like minded individuals. A little trust will offer you a lot of enrichment these days.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I occasionally attend meet-ups with couchsurfers and have shown people around Newcastle/Leeds in the past. I'm currently hosting again and have genuinely found CS to be a very satisfying and rewarding experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a handful of people, which have all been positive (and enjoyable) experiences. A brief stay in Dublin with a fellow couchsurfer was a memorable one, as we managed to join a group of CS members who offered us hot food on the streets an led us to a few free drinks in one of the bars! I've managed to meet some great characters through Couchsurfing and I'm looking forward to meeting many more. For me personally, CS is a great way to promote and facilitate a wider global community of people that look after one another and share experiences as human beings.

Interessi

Loads and Loads and Loads. I particularly enjoy all aspects of music (listening/playing/watching) as well as films, reading books, arts/culture and outdoor activity-related pursuits.

Watching the amazing fireworks from a hostel balcony in Florence. By chance, I had arrived on Carnival Day and had the best view in the city.

I can teach you how to play guitar and how to speak a bit of the Geordie dialect. I also guarantee that you will experience warm northern hospitality whilst in my company. I'm more than happy to show you various soup recipes and will cook up a few of my own inventions for any food lovers.
