About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to get a local perspective while seeing new places

ABOUT ME

Well, 6 months ago I quit the evil world of corporate IT to start my own business with a friend. It went well. Now travelling Europe for the first time loving it - just travelled France, Spain and Italy over 3 weeks which blew my mind.

Now in the UK for a bit and wouldn't mind if there were some kind folk out there willing to put me up for a night. Because needless to say my South African ZARs don't go too far around here and some local perspective would be swell.

Yes I'm South African, and YES SA is the greatest place in the world. EVER. If you don't find that weird then I think we will get along just fine :) Oh, got a spare room back home in Cape Town, so, happy to host people when I'm back a month from now.

PHILOSOPHY

Getting deep here. I guess it doesn't pay to be stressed out, go with the flow and strike while the iron is hot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently looking for kind folk to host me while I'm travelling Europe. Heard about this CS gig before, but only signed up now that I'm looking for a surfable couch. Now that I'm a full-blown, hot-blooded, fully formed member I'll be opening up my home when I get back to Cape Town in June. Did someone say WORLD CUP FOOTBALL?!?!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First timer, but heard from some friends I made at a backpackers in Italy that it's not a bad idea.

Interests

love my music and seeing live gigs, food, art, the odd beer, socialising and meeting new peeps, rugby (Springboks!), the sun, the ocean, missioning around in nature, you know - the usual.
