Overview
About Me
My name is John Clark. I'm originally from South Carolina here in the states on the East Coast. I have an undergraduate degree in philosophy (I like to read) and just got my graduate degree in industrial design (I like to build stuff). I'm fascinated by our relationship with technology on a moral and psychological level. And I'm interested in designing more mindful, human technology.
I love to play guitar and mandolin, mountain bike, hike, draw, sketch, make good food, drink good beer, and generally just being in nature.
My favorite snack is chips and salsa :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This past year my thesis project involved a lot of research about Scandinavian design and I fell in love! So I decided to travel through Sweden, Norway, and Denmark after graduation. I love meeting new people and learning about different ways of life and thinking. We're all pretty much the same deep down :P
