About Me

ABOUT ME

**EDIT** Just moved to Amsterdam, so the below is old. Will update soon :)

Just moved back to London having lived in Vancouver, Canada and travelled some of the US.

PHILOSOPHY

k.r.e.a.m. Karma rules everything around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Definitely keen to host people and, if I can, find a couch or two to stay on whilst traveling that would be great.

Interests

Love music, going out to clubs and bars with friends, watching bands/DJs, cooking, eating out ... Would definitely say that meeting new people and getting to know them is a big passion of mine.

I'm also a fan of art and design and really enjoy visiting galleries and exhibitions, whether to get some inspiration or just to open my mind a bit more. I'm also a pretty big reader.

Being English, it's probably not surprising to hear that I'm a huge football fan (you probably haven't heard of my team...) and I go to a lot of games when I'm back home. Since being in North America I've really enjoyed watching the NBA, NHL and NFL - sorry baseball.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite authors include Graham Greene, George Orwell, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

I'm a huge music fan and am into a wide range of music, mainly hip-hop, house/techno, garage and bands like the Smiths, the Cure, Beach House, Radiohead, Tops, etc...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Whale watching in Vancouver Island has to be up there. I really don't think you can overestimate the first time you see the Manhattan skyline either!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I'm about to start a TEFL course so maybe one day I will be able to teach English... until then I can teach you about obscure football ('soccer') players, how to make a really good Gin & Tonic, and the best mixed cereal combinations - all of which are invaluable.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
