About Me

I grew up on a farm in Connecticut, and moved to Boston after high school to study at Northeastern University. I spent most of my time in either that architecture studio or the Engineers Without Borders office. I graduated from the architecture program at Northeastern in May, 2010 with a minor in philosophy. I lived up in Boston after school for a few more years and worked in Architecture.

I moved to New Haven to pursue some more adventurous activities.

I work on projects and because I have a wide range of interests, I often have more things happening than is generally healthy. I design, build, travel, ride bikes, weld bike frames, play music, shoot photos, read everything, watch Hindi movies, work on the farm, fix motorcycles (a little), fix bicycles (a lot), make art, and love it all.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all music from fuzz rock (Ty Segall to Black Rebel Motorcycle Club) to hip hop (Drake to N.A.S.A. to Earl Sweatshirt) to folk (Dylan mostly) to jazz (Coltrane to Glasper to Badbadnotgood) to modern electronic (Romare to FlyLo). I am not much of a movie person, but I will watch Star Wars at any moment. I read a lot of sci-fi and fantasy (Stephenson to Weis and Hickman) , with a good sprinkling of modern fiction (1Q84 to Infinite Jest) and nonfiction books about subjects I am trying to learn more about (geology to foraging).
