My hair is brown, I'm hovering slightly below six feet tall, I'm studying acting in London right now.

Love many, trust a few, and learn to paddle your own canoe.

I think we all owe each other the best that we're capable of, and I do my best not to be too sarcastic; but sometimes that's hard.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First time couchsurfing was just last month, hitchhiking through Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, and Belgium. Had an amazing time, every single person I met was fantastic and interesting; I honestly think this is one of the best projects on the internet.

Soul Coughing, Aesop Rock, Pixies, Nirvana, Screeching Weasel, Led Zeppelin, Joni Mitchell, Johnny Cash, John Lee Hooker, Miles Davis, Mozart, Douglas Adams is one of the funniest writers I've read, Dickens, Leonard Cohen, Joyce, Dostoevsky, John Irving, Catch-22 (the book), Screamin' Jay Hawkins,THE SIMPSONS,True Grit, Cat Ballou, Fight Club, On the Waterfront, Goldeneye, Billy Madison, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Birdcage, Storytelling, Happy Gilmore, Searching for Bobby Fischer, Star Wars, American Beauty, Indiana Jones, Malcolm X, Jerry Maguire, 3:10 to Yuma, The Americanization of Emily, The Graduate, Groundhog Day, Dumb & Dumber, and any movie that has a good Boston accent.

I'm an actor, so I'm naturally a big play reader. I read English-writing authors more than anything else: Arthur Miller, Martin McDonagh, Harold Pinter, William Shakespeare, but also Chekhov, Strindberg, Ibsen. I'll give anything that calls itself a play at least a read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled in a wood-canvas canoe through 350 miles of Quebec wilderness to reach the Inuit settlement of Umiujaq on the shore of Hudson Bay, north of the tree line in America, when I was 18. I smoked a cigar at the end, paid far too much for soapstone sculptures, and went home. I saw a lot of moose.

Teach, Learn, Share

Erm, I play and teach chess a lot. I also play guitar, and write. I'll drop everything for a game of chess, and I'm perfectly content to lose.
I'm trying to learn German, I speak Spanish pretty well, and I teach acting, although I doubt that private classes will come up : ).
