Hey I´m John, a 24 year old Irish guy who has a passion for adventure and travel.
As a child I grew up on a farm with cows, horses, dogs, cats etc. so extremely comfortable around animals and because of the farm I have no fear of hard work haha.

I have a degree in economics and sociology ( the sociological side I loved) I am a people person, I love meeting and talking to people, hearing their stories and listening to their view of the world.

I've been living in Spain for the past 4 years teaching English to all kinds of students from children to elderly people.

I'm on this to learn and develop skills, meet some new amazing people, share experiences about the world and learn from each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I´m on here basically to meet as many new people as possible and learn from locals about the places I´m travelling. Everyone can buy a lonely planet book for a bit of money and read up on a place but learning, living and experiencing a place from the people who actually live there is priceless.

Interests

I love all types of sports especially anything adventurous or anything to do with water. Im a keen scuba diver, former lifeguard and swim instructor, beginner surfer, really want to get more involved in rock climbing as well. Basically give me any type of sport or activity and I'll try my hand at it.

I love hearing about peoples lives and learning other peoples stories as well as the typical hobbies such as reading, watching series online and movies.

Music, Movies, and Books

Definitely a bit of a nerd here with regards to movies and books, love all types of fantasy and superhero stuff.
With music I'm very easy going I wouldn't define myself to one type of genre I like mix of all different types.
