My name is John Intemann and I currently live in Chattanooga, TN. I am 21 years old and pursuing a Pre-Med Biology degree at the local university here while also working at a local start-up called Bellhops (getbellhops.com). Although Bellhops doesn't really have anything to do with my major, I have learned many problem solving skills that I believe will help me to succeed at future careers.

I have been playing guitar since I was about 12, and picked up bass and piano a few years later. To put it simply, I absolutely adore music. Whether it's listening or jamming with friends, it's become a part of who I am as an individual. I am currently in a band called Harbor (heywereharbor.bandcamp.com)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel. Although I haven't done it as much as I would like to due to money restrictions, I am determined to overcome the financial confines of life to see the world! I think Couchsurfing is one of the ways that individuals are empowered to get out. I believe that being comfortable in life is a dangerous thing -- we should always be taking strides to achieve new goals.
