Hi! I'm a 24 year old male Canadian traveling through New Zealand at the moment. I've just finished a tour through Southeast Asia and Australia over the last 13 months and I'm finishing up my travels in NZ. I'm easygoing, fun and am very excited about exploring the wicked nature this country has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined couch surfing (very recently) as I'm a solo backpacker in NZ and looking to meet cool new people. I also want an authentic kiwi experience, so meeting as many locals as possible is my goal. This is why I plan on couchsurfing and wwoofing as much as possible. Unfortunately I don't have any references as I've just joined, but I can promise I'm super layed back and game for pretty much anything. Just wanting to meet cool people and explore.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a huge LOTR fan. Sometimes it's a bit embarrassing. Otherwise I like all sorts of movies, books and music. I'm a bit of a fantasy/comic/marvel fan when it comes to movies. In terms of music I like chilled folk, indie alternative, classic rock and all types of music really. Not huge into rap or country but I've been convinced. Also big into electronic music as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A 3D 2N trek up a volcano on Lombok, Indonesia. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip. Hoping to add a lot more amazing things in NZ.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Pretty much just a chilled, nice guest to hang out with. I can teach you some Canadian as well, and of course a place to stay in Toronto if you're ever around.
