I have many friends who use couchsurfing as a way to help their travels. Even without staying with a host, meeting someone for food or some small amount of time has been a worthwhile experience. Cool people always make my travels more enjoyable.
In my experience, most people who use this site are very interesting, and friendly – great people to meet and share stories.
