I'm an engineer and musician from Mexico City, I also DJ from time to time, play the piano, I love cycling around the city and hiking in the nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to go out and visit places together, get to know you and what you enjoy about life and about your city! I am on Couchsurfing because I want to share my ideas, culture and life with you and I wish to learn as much as I can from you, go to a place you enjoy together or just have a nice conversation.

Interests

Music has been my greatest passion in life since I can remember, I've always been intrigued by how culture is expressed through music and I'm very interested on traveling around the world to understand how the music from a place originates as a result of the culture, environment and history of the place.

I am also very passionate about technology which is why I decided to go into engineering, I love to visit technology expos and museums and just be amazed by everything we have accomplished as human beings with our imagination, creativity and ingenuity.

My favorite hobbies are obviously mostly musically related, like playing the piano and jamming with friends, but I also enjoy walking around a city or even better, CYCLING around a city! I've loved bicycles since I learned how to ride one, it is marvel of engineering and in my opinion the most fun, energy efficient and environmentally friendly way of transportation.

I am also very interested to get to know the night life of every city I visit, the best places to party and hang out and discover new concepts and forms of recreation.

Music, Movies, and Books

Electronic Music, Jazz, Funk, Rock, Classical, I'm pretty much into everything music wise :)

I enjoy reading personal growth books like 12 Rules for Life by Jordan Peterson or The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle. I also enjoy novels, particularly mystery and sci-fi like the Sherlock Holmes books and The Hitchhiker Guide to the Galaxy.

I love all kinds of movies, but I particularly love movies by Christopher Nolan, David Fincher, Tarantino, Guy Ritchie, JJ Abrahams and Shane Black.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got the chance to attend one of the few ever Daft Punk live concerts (Alive 2007)! One of the most amazing musical experiences ever! My life was definitely not the same after that event ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to teach anyone who could be interested the creative process behind making music, from a very simple idea in your mind to a complex and fully developed musical piece. I also consider myself a pretty good piano teacher and a decent cook 😁

I'm also open to teach or practice Spanish or German with you if you are interested :)

I'm also an almost native English speaker so we can also practice English ^^
