I joined couchsurfing and haven't used it until recently. This is why I don't have many references yet. I'm a good guy though, just ask me. LOL.

I recently reached a point in my life where I have both the time and money to see some of this big beautiful planet. I started in Washington state in the winter of 2015, My kid was 22 years old and taking care of herself. I ended a relationship that wasn't healthy for either one of us. I wasn't buying a house. I didn't have a long time job I needed to stay around for. So, I sold almost everything and headed south for the winter.

I drove around North America for 20 months. I have seen amazing things and have many fascinating stories. I'll try to not do all the talking so I can hear about some of your adventures. LOL. Now I'm traveling in Europe which is also beautiful! I look forward to exploring many countries while I'm here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I see this venue as a good chance to become better acquainted with the people who live in the places I visit. Sharing time and space is a golden opportunity to experience a connection with other people. It's also an opportunity to learn from one another. Sharing stories is a good way to get to know the person and how they view the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music
I like most music. I don't try to change the music to match my mood. I let my mood be changed to match the music. I try to feel the music.

Movies
I have watched many movies of all sorts. My favorites are those that make me think or feel something significantly different than I've ever experienced.

Books
I don't spend near as much time reading books as I once did. With the internet, I can better pinpoint what I want to read and how much. Usually it's literally at my fingertips, where a book is much more cumbersome. If you have the time and space for books, good on ya!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I helped my Daughter get through high school without getting pregnant or hooked on drugs. She actually earned pretty good grades as well. I left my home to travel to many places in North America and now , Europe.
