So far I've lived an interesting life! I was born in Idaho, have 8 brothers and sisters and my parents moved around the American West quite a bit. I've lived in Arizona, Colorado, South Dakota, North Dakota, Alaska, Montana, Minnesota, Wyoming and Washington state. I love technology, politics, maths, engineering and music. I use to be a builder but I work as an engineer now.

I like meeting real people, getting to see and know the genuine character and soul of places I visit, and last but not least, I like being frugal!

Interests

I like good food that is well prepared, music, machines and nature. I love being in the forest and and hiking as well. Swing dancing is a personal passion and there is a great community of swing dancers in the Minneapolis area, as there are pockets around the world. I love nerding-out on engineering topics, and like the intersection of politics, religion, business and science.

Music, Movies, and Books

A fan of most kinds of music, at least for awhile. I play guitar, mandolin, piano, and steel slide guitar. Favorite books include biographies, how-to manuals, and business books. I like to listening to all kinds of music, except maybe Metal haha...yeah not Metal.
